The NJBIZ has named Jamie Kern Lima, co-founder and CEO of IT Cosmetics (shown), as one of the 2014 recipients of the Best Women in Business Award.

The winner was selected by an independent panel of judges. The award recognizes 50 influential women in business each year who have been making headlines in their field and helping to shape the economic future of New Jersey.

IT Cosmetics launched in 2008. Prior, Kern Lima spent several years as an award winning TV news anchor – but having to look ‘awake’ for the 5 a.m. news broadcast fueled her passion to create problem-solving cosmetic products to enhance natural beauty instead of concealing it. Now, she works hand-in-hand with plastic surgeons, and travels the world to create innovative products that empower women with beauty solutions to help them look and feel their most beautiful every day.
